# Add an institutional membership using your email

Associations of institutional memberships through email and their renewals are valid for __90 days__.

1. Under the _Institutional Memberships_ area of your dashboard, click **My institutions**.
2. Click the Add button in the lower part of your screen.

3. Click **by e-mail address**.
4. Enter your email and click **Continue** to look up the associated institution.
5. Click **Get code**.
| A verification code is sent to your email.
6. Enter the verification code and click **Continue**.

Your institutional membership is associated with your CONNECT account and is listed on the Institutional Memberships page. You can now enjoy the benefits that the institution offers across the CONNECT network for the next __90 days__.
