# CONNECT participating sites and applications

CONNECT allows you to create a single account to access multiple scholarly publishing websites and applications for researchers. Move seamlessly between all sites and applications without having to create and maintain multiple accounts. 

You can see all participating sites and applications on the _Sites & Applications_ page where you can also learn which of them are connected with your profile and when was the last time you accessed them. 
Don't worry, your data is only accessible by the apps and sites you have authorized. If you change your mind, you have the option to revoke access to any participating site or application at any time.

Some of the participating scholarly publishing organizations have multiple websites under different domains. When you sign up to CONNECT through one of these websites, you create a single account that provides you access to all.
💬 **${color}[#48bee7](Note:)** Creating a CONNECT account through a scholarly publishing website requires you to accept the terms of service and privacy policy both of the publishing website and CONNECT.

## View all participating sites and applications 

1. Under the _Sites & Applications_ area of your dashboard, click **View all**.
2. Scroll through the list and see all participating apps and sites.
3. Click **Visit site** to transfer to the homepage of the app or site of your choice.

## Connect a site or application to your account

1. Under the _Sites & Applications_ area of your dashboard, click **View all**.
2. Find the app or site you want to connect with your account.
3. Click **Connect** next to its name.
4. Select if you want to receive marketing emails from the app or site.
5. Click **Confirm**.
| The scholarly publishing website(s) or application for researchers is now connected with your account!

## Revoke access to a site or application

1. Under the _Sites & Applications_ area of your dashboard, click **View all**.
2. Find the app or site you want to revoke access to.
3. Click **Settings** next to its name and then **Revoke access**.
4. Click **Revoke** to confirm your action.
| The scholarly publishing website(s) or application for researchers is no longer connected to your account.
| 💬 **${color}[#48bee7](Note:)** Your profile and data will be preserved for 30 days after deletion of your account, in case you want to return. You may recover your deleted account by logging in to it within this period.

## Receive or block marketing communication from a site or application

1. Under the _Sites & Applications_ area of your dashboard, click **View all**.
2. Find the app or site you want to receive/block marketing emails from.
3. Click **Settings** next to its name and use the toggle button to opt-in/opt-out.
