Sign up to CONNECT

CONNECT allows you to create a single account and profile to gain access to and move seamlessly between multiple scholarly publishing websites and applications for researchers.

By signing up to any website that uses CONNECT, you also create a CONNECT account. Initially, this account provides you access only to the site(s) of the publisher or the application(s) of the provider you signed up to.

Create a CONNECT account



Create a CONNECT account through scienceconnect.io or any of the participating scholarly publishing websites now!

Click Sign Up on the upper right corner of the webpage.
Enter your name, email, and type a password. Click Continue.
Enter the verification code sent to your email and click Continue.
Accept the terms and conditions by clicking Confirm.
You have successfully created your CONNECT account! 👍

Create a CONNECT account using a 3rd party identity provider



You can register through 3rd party identity providers such as ORCID, Google, Apple, and Twitter and eliminate the need for a password.

Click Sign Up on the upper right corner of the webpage.
Click the icon of the identity provider of your choice.
Log in to your account for the identity provider.
Accept the terms and conditions by clicking Confirm.
You have successfully created your CONNECT account! 👍

I created a CONNECT account through scienceconnect.io. What should I do in order to access a participating scholarly publishing website?

Simply access the participating publishing websites or applications of your choice and accept the terms and conditions. This way, you'll be able to switch between sites you have joined and authorized to use your profile using a single login.

Can I associate my institutional memberships with my CONNECT account?

You can! Verify your institutional memberships on CONNECT and gain off-site access to your entitlements from university, work, or school subscriptions. Learn more here.
